Plainhour makes considered objects for slow work — small, well-made things for the desk and the hours you protect.

We started with a quiet frustration. The desk had become a place of speed: notifications, tabs, the next thing. We wanted to make the opposite — objects that ask you to slow down, even a little. A ceramic that holds the morning light. A piece of brass with real weight. Paper thick enough to feel under the hand.

Everything we make or source follows three rules. It must earn its place on the desk. It must be made to be kept — materials that take on the marks of use and look better for them. And it must be sent without noise: recycled packaging, no plastic, no filler.

We are a small studio in Croatia. We add objects slowly, on purpose. If something isn't considered, it doesn't ship.
